What can I say ladies, you've done it again and knocked it out of the park. I loved the first book in your True Heart Series and this one was just as good. (I read it all in one sitting) I liked how I was able to fallow the lives of each of the amazing characters within both books and how there lives all intertwined. Great job! I will definitely be looking out for the next book in this series.
So I have not really clicked with these two authors' writings but I keep reading them for somd reason. But this one, I actalually liked. Don't get me wrong there were still little things that irked me a bit and some things I don't fully think were resolved or even close blto being resolved but regardless I did enjoy it.
This is the second book in the series and is technically about Steph and Rosa. The jist of it is Rosa gets injured on the job and is pissed at everyone and wont let anyone help her but Parker. Which honestly made me mad and if I was Steph, would unbelievably hurt by some of her actions. Everything works out nicely in the end in a sense and it had a nice set up of new characters. You get more in depth read of Amy and Parker and even Susan and Tess's reoationships. If you're a fan you'll like this read. If you on the fence like I usually am, give this one a chance. I actually liked it.
I really liked the first book in this series and was equally, if not more, pleased with this sequel. I fell in love with the whole cast of characters, especially Parker, and was happy to hear more about them. There were so many touching moments in this book that I want to go back and reread it. Parker struck me as the quiet hero in so many instances, touching everyone around her, anticipating their needs and stepping in to provide a fix or a solution often before a problem was realized. Her love, loyalty and devotion are admirable. I adore the fact that her mild Aspergers causes her to be so honest and clear in her interactions. I can't wait for the third installment!
A fantastic book, I couldnt stop reading. When a great read can make you laugh out loud and end up nearly in tears on the same day you just know its a winner. Look forward to picking it up for a second and third time. Thankyou!!

A moving story of love, friendship, grief and healing. Full of laughter, tears and witty banter between the friends. The ending was heartwarming. Two thumbs up for this sequel.
I am really digging the writing of the Gardner/Bennett team. Straight From the Heart had me crying, laughing, fuming, and waving my hands in the air. I love these characters, and can't wait to continue with this series.
